it would be nice to have a desktop client for zextras Chat, because chat need a bit more reaction than email. Email are typically asynchrone, whereas chat discussion are more dynamical, need immediate reaction.

So having a dedicated chat client would help to reach someone an alert him better than a simple notice, but with a real popup, like most chat application (like telegram, wire, Tox, signal)

for Linux, Mac and Windows...

thanks for your comments

Hi @dominix, I am not sure we have plans for that, I'll try to gather some information. Mail and Chats clients are available for Android and iOs tough (probably you're already aware of).

Yes I'm aware of your ios/Android client that I use. But I spend much more time on my desktop than on my smartphone ...

I think on new macs you can run iOS apps? And I think on win11 you can run android apps? Would be intrigued if it’s possible to run the mobile apps on a desktop as a workaround?

@zimusr Yes, that's a good point. Our apps are actually supporting MacOS for M1 (you can download form AppStore) and Windows11 (you can download from Amazon store) and our current effort is also on optimizing the UX on those systems.

Bests
