I've made some test on Zimbra9 to verify upgradability of your actual system in 8.8.15. As I plan to keep RHEL equivalent I have tested an install with Almalinux, which have my preference.
I have converted 2 install of ZIMBRA 8.8.15 on CentOS8 to AlmaLinux8, it works well and it upgrade well to the last patch.
But when it comes to install Zimbra9 I got errors at install time saying there is unresolved dependencies. It looks like the ./install.sh is not able to add the Zimbra repository, whereas it doesn't occurs with Centos8.
Has Synacor recommend not to use Centos8-stream an encourage to switch to some real full compatible RHEL8 could you ensure the build will install correctly in AlmaLinux8 ?

By the way I did not succeed to convert the CEntos8 to AlmaLinux after Zimbra9 install.
