Synacor removed beta flag from Ubuntu 20 downloads. Are you willing to support this OS in the custom builds too? If so, is there an ETA?
Thanks

Hi @maxxer,
At the moment, we don't have any plan to work on Ubuntu 20. However, we may reconsider it as an option in the future.
@arman ok thanks. Why don't you open source the build preparation? Others might be interested in contributing, and maybe add support for Ubuntu 20.
@maxxer We are more focused on Carbonio CE that being an actual OpenSource project will assure:
-Official Builds
-clear repo
-correct OSI license management
-complete set of Open Sourced components and tools, build preparations included.
I hope you all will enjoy it as we enjoy working on it.

Do you guys guarantee that you're are not going to pull a Zimbra on Carbonia CE?

We have almost 15years experience in writing code for Zimbra therefore all the Zextras code is actually design on that architecture.
We are not going to "pull a Zimbra" but definitely we started with a similar architecture and some of the same 3rd part components, while others are completely different and most of them are OpenSource by Zextras.
The main point is that the design and the evolution of Carbonio is not related to Zimbra as a product.
I'm not saying there is no some Zimbra GPL code in the CarbonioCE package, is one of the 3rd part components we are using.
